Chick Chat: Balance, Accountabilty and Reason

The American people have put all our dems in one basket, two words are missing from our government, balance and accountability.

I was talking with a cousin of mine from Costa Rica, a very intelligent 12 year old, Alexa. She asked me why we were always talking about Obama and the govenrnment. So I attempted to explained to her the fundamental problem that we are having right now. It went a little like this.

The United States was founded with 3 branches of government, legislative, executive and judicial. The legislative branch makes the laws, the executive branch carries out the laws and the judicial branch interprets or explains the laws. Now the reason that our very intelligent founders made three bodies of federal government is because they realized the importance of balance and accountability.

The legislative branch is responsible for its part, but it is also held accountable by the executive and judicial branches etc etc. Balance and accountability are fundamental principles of our system. Now, when one group has overwhelming control of too many branches then there is no longer the balance nor accountability that we need.

She understood that, why didn't America??

But here we are. All our dems...I mean eggs in one basket. We have created this mess for ourselves and now we have to dig our way out. We have to protest, write, call, email, shout, question, blog, comment, research, inform, talk and do anything in our power to have our voices heard.

We have a chance. A fighting chance to stop this fundamental change that is facing our country but only is everyone that is outraged speaks up. It is time to make our government accountable to US.

Dem Office Vandalized by SEIU yet blamed on Anti-Obama Health Care Protester

Click here to read what Michelle Malkin had to say about this.

.....................

Denver Vandal Was Paid by SEIU

The sexually perplexed left-wing freakazoid Maurice (aka Ariel) Schwenkler, who participated in smashing 11 windows at the Democrat HQ in Denver Tuesday and left the Dems to try to pin it on conservatives, was paid by the SEIU — the same corrupt and thuggish union that Comrade Obama's regime has deployed to rough up patriots at town hall meetings.

From KXMA: Turns out that Mr. Shwenkler was recently paid $500 by the SEIU for, uh, "communications."

Chick Chat: Not for Sale Anymore

I am disgusted and yet not surprised to hear that Communist Dictator Fidel Castro is now calling the changes that Obama is trying to make,"positive". But I have to ask, isn't something terribly wrong when a communist dictator is saying we are making positive changes?? For him positive is communism. So what kind of changes are we making?

Sidenote: Notice I wrote DICTATOR, because although the media seems to be convinced that at some point in history there was a free election in Cuba during which Fidel was elected, there wasn't. January of 1959 Fidel Castro marched into Havana and overthrew the previous leader, also a dictator by the name of Batista. Neither Fidel nor his brother Raul were ever freely chosen as leaders and as a Cuban- American I find it offensive that they are given that distinction in American media.

Getting to the article, lets look at the key points:
  • Obama is trying to make positive changes in the United States, but is being fought at every turn by right-wingers who hate him because he is black wrote Fidel
  • Obama inherited many problems from his predecessor and was trying to resolve them but the "powerful extreme right won't be happy with anything that diminishes their prerogatives in the slightest way."-Fidel
  • Castro wrote, "the extreme right hates him for being African-American and fights what the president does to improve the deteriorated image of that country."
  • "I don't have the slightest doubt that the racist right will do everything possible to wear him down, blocking his program to get him out of the game one way or another, at the least political cost," Castro wrote.

The problem is not that the right is racist!

I am so sick and tired of being called a racist for not approving of the President. I could care less if he was Hispanic, African-American, Asian, whatever. I care about his fundamental views and beliefs. I care about his policies. I care about what he is doing to this country, not what color his skin is or what religion he practices.

I think that the American people are starting to realize what a mistake we made in Nov of 2008 and are starting to pull away from this administration. And I believe that the leftists, the radicals, the Fidel Castros of this world are desperately trying to cling to the momentum they had going for them a year ago by scaring people away from the right. Vilifying the right and creating this stigma that it's racist to be anti-Obama. We'll I have news for the left, American's aren't buying it any more.

UPDATE: Whole Foods CEO Attacked When Exercising 1st Amendment Rights

Here are some articles with updates about what is going on with the Whole Foods Boycott and Anti Boycott:

Breaking: CtW Investment Group Calls for Whole Foods Board to Remove CEO John Mackey

BRIETBART: Boycotting the boycotters

Opinion: Supporters of Glenn Beck and Whole Foods Challenge Boycotts

As a proud member of the I SUPPORT MR. JOHN MACKEY and WHOLE FOODS, INC. facebook group I recieved this message from the groups organizer, Crystal Mae, also featured on Greta's segment Food Fight.

........................................................................................................................................................

Mr. Mackey's proposals:

•Equalize the tax laws so that employer-provided health insurance and individually owned health insurance have the same tax benefits. Now employer health insurance benefits are fully tax deductible, but individual health insurance is not. This is unfair.

•Repeal all state laws which prevent insurance companies from competing across state lines. We should all have the legal right to purchase health insurance from any insurance company in any state and we should be able use that insurance wherever we live. Health insurance should be portable.

•Repeal government mandates regarding what insurance companies must cover. These mandates have increased the cost of health insurance by billions of dollars. What is insured and what is not insured should be determined by individual customer preferences and not through special-interest lobbying.

•Enact tort reform to end the ruinous lawsuits that force doctors to pay insurance costs of hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. These costs are passed back to us through much higher prices for health care.

•Make costs transparent so that consumers understand what health-care treatments cost. How many people know the total cost of their last doctor's visit and how that total breaks down? What other goods or services do we buy without knowing how much they will cost us?

•Enact Medicare reform. We need to face up to the actuarial fact that Medicare is heading towards bankruptcy and enact reforms that create greater patient empowerment, choice and responsibility.

•Finally, revise tax forms to make it easier for individuals to make a voluntary, tax-deductible donation to help the millions of people who have no insurance and aren't covered by Medicare, Medicaid or the State Children's Health Insurance Program.

Keep standing up, and speaking out! Hope you have a great day!

In Liberty,

Crystal
