Support Anitere Flores for Florida Senator!

I first found out about Anitere Flores from a cousin of mine who went to school with her but I've since heard quite a bit of buzz about her since. With Gov. Crist needing to fill the Martinez's Senate seat Flores has been singled out as a possible candidate. As the only female Hispanic State Representative since 1986 Flores seems to really be a breath of fresh air for the GOP.

    Appointing Flores would be a perfect move for Gov. Crist. He would be naming the first Hispanic woman to the US Senate - imagine the media coverage that would garner him. He would be the "progressive" governor and it would appeal to the more centrist voters. On the other hand, by appointing Flores, a staunch Conservative, he would be restating his position as a true Republican - something about which the Marco Rubio camp is giving him a run for his money.
